Favorite kid’s activities along R train in Brooklyn?

Mom of a 2.5yo in Bay Ridge here! We have a car, so we usually use that to go places (we do Staten Island and New Jersey a lot), and we’ve also gone through basically all the local places within walking distance (we’re at Fairytale Island pretty often). Looking to branch out a bit, as I’ll be off with the LO (but with no car access) for spring break in a few weeks. We’d like to start with a simple R train ride before we branch out to doing a transfer. What are your favorite things to do within say, a 10-15 minute walk of the R train? Anywhere in Brooklyn is fine - but I think that would be my limit unless something really amazing (86 St to Court St is already almost half an hour just on the train, plus walking time). We like indoor playgrounds, children’s museum, science center, zoos and aquariums so far! submitted by /u/DumbbellDiva92 [link] [comments]
