Anthem BCBS Medicaid Hospitals
Looking for help navigating medicaid. We had our first child at Mount Sinai with our Anthem BCBS Medicaid plan and did all our pre-natal care at Mt Sinai clinics. Experience was fine and pretty straightforward - I found out what hospital was covered and then found clinics that delivered at that hospital. We’re looking to start trying again but I’m overwhelmed trying to navigate finding a provider now that Anthem dropped Mt Sinai. What hospitals are now covered by Anthem? I’m pretty sure I could swap plans to a different medicaid plan like Healthfirst, Fidelis, etc. but not sure if that’s just trading one set of problems for a different set or if it would give me better hospital options.
